Provision of free medical facilities to the needy and poor Pakistanis living & working in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Helping needy students with books, school fees and advice on career planning.
Facilitating welfare projects in Pakistan and providing aid in case of natural disasters.
THE SOCIETY IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR ETHNIC GROUP IN ANY WAY
THE SOCIETY WILL BE WORKING UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF PAKISTAN CONSULATE AND WILL ABIDE BY ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SAUDI ARABIA.

About

Morning of October 8, 2005, the most tragic moment in history of Pakistan, this was the day of a massive earthquake struck Pakistan- mainly the northern area, including the capital. A massive relieve effort by people & government of Pakistan was initiated to help the affected people.
Couple of like minded people here in Jeddah- namely:- Dr.Khalil ur Rehman, Dr. Amjad Obaid, Mr. Zia ul Haq Jilani, Mr. Sharif Zaman, Dr. Muhammad Shakil Sadiq, Mr.Khalil Janjua, Mr Ayaz Kharal & Dr.Mohammad Rafique set on a similar journey which was to help the needy people of Pakistan both during disasters & otherwise, the group started collection donations: starting from the own home, to help the people in need. The donation included a field ambulance which was later submitted for the relieve operation to one of the NGO ( Non Governmental Organization) involved in earth quake relieve operation.

Later it was thought appropriate not to end the work here, but to continue beyond this point. The idea lead to the formation of Pakistan Welfare society, opening cerenomy was held in a local hotel on May 17,2006. The Minister of the Pakistan consulate Mr. Javaid Akhter was the cheif guest.
After the formal inauguration of Pakistan Welfare society, Dr.Khalil ur Rehman was nominated as the Convener, by consensus of the founding members.
In the field of health sector a Free Medical Camp started with the collaboration of Pakistan Consulate, Jeddah. The camp was organized within the premises of Pakistan Consulate, first free medical camp was opened to patients in June 2006.
